The Bread Offering for January is Energy Efficient Light Bulbs
Last June we directed our Bread Offering to be an “ADOPT A LIGHT BULB”
program so that we could purchase energy efficient light bulbs that last about four times as long as the ones we are using. We collected $555.88. The plan was to replace each old bulb as it wore out with a new style bulb. Eventually this will result in a real decrease in lighting costs.
We are trying to raise more money to speed up the process. But we have a
lot of bulbs to replace. The small bulbs start at about $15.00 a case and the large ones are about $40.00. Donations will be accepted all month and any contribution you could make would be greatly appreciated.
