This verse is printed on all our Stewardship material for 2011. If we ponder our church life together here at St. John’s, we realize that we have treasure right here. We intend to celebrate that treasure over the next month and a half so you’ll know what we really appreciate about our congregation. The worship order will be a bit different to facilitate this process and we will have more lay participation. The weekly focus and schedule follows:
October 10: Welcome, Caring, and Nurturing - Everyone is welcomed and cared for.
October 17: The Holy Temple - A celebration of the church and grounds.
October 24: Mission Giving and Projects - We celebrate our Bread
Offerings and community involvement.
October 31: We pause for All Saints Sunday - Honoring founders, all who have gone before, and singing old hymns
November 7: Youth Sunday - We honor the Youth Program and its Director,
with Youth participation in worship.
November 14: Church Groups - We celebrate the groups that contribute so
much to our life together
November 21: Dedication Sunday - We dedicate our financial pledges and
celebrate with a Potluck Meal
